My favorite place I've been is Oxford, UK, where I had the opportunity to study abroad during the summer of 2017 as part of the Honors at Oxford experience. For 21 days, I was immersed in the environment of the University of Oxford and lived at Brasenose college. I went punting on the Thames, visited Christ Church college (where parts of Harry Potter were filmed), and had weekly tutorial sessions with an Oxford professor.
Near the end of the study abroad experience, our Oxford professor was able to arrange for the whole group to go to the top of Magdalen tower, which is the tallest tower in Oxford. At the top, I was able to get a picture of the whole city.

I highly recommend anyone thinking about going to the United Kingdom to visit this amazing city. It is a magical place, and it is no wonder that writers like Tolkien and C. S. Lewis were inspired by living there.
Ohhhhh, so many memories seeing that skyline, Justin: thank you for sharing that picture. Fabulous! I did an M.Phil. at Oxford way way way back in the day (1980s); I was at St. Antony's but my Polish tutor was at Hertford and my Latin tutor was at Keble, so I got to see very different styles of colleges! A friend of mine at Magdalen lived in a tiny cottage near THE LAMP POST that was C. S. Lewis's inspiration for the lamp post in Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe. I had not thought about all that in a while..... yay for Oxford! Maybe you will get a chance to go back there and study again in the future!
